How combining works here
- Drop the PDFs. Drop, choose or paste the files, or a whole folder of them. They open in your browser tab.
- Put them in order. Move each file up or down. The combined PDF follows the list, and each file's own pages keep their order.
- Combine and download. The pages are copied into one new PDF, with a bookmark where each file starts, and it is checked before you download it.
What it does
- Copies pages as they are: nothing is re-drawn or re-compressed, text stays text.
- Keeps different page sizes and turned pages.
- Adds a bookmark at the start of each file, with that file's own bookmarks under it.
- Reads protected files when you type the password.
What it does not do
- It does not combine pictures and PDFs in one step: turn the pictures into a PDF with JPG to PDF first.
- It does not keep a bookmark to a page you left out.
Questions
How many PDFs can I combine?
As many as your device's memory holds; hundreds of files and pages work on an ordinary laptop. There is no daily limit.
Is combining the same as merging?
Yes. Combine and merge both mean putting PDFs together into one file.
Can I combine PDFs on an iPhone?
Yes. Open this page in Safari, choose the PDFs from Files, and download the combined PDF.
Will the quality change?
No. The pages are copied as they are, not printed again, so text, pictures and drawings are unchanged.
Does my file leave my computer?
No. Everything runs in your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.
