How the tools stay free and private
Nothing here runs on a server. The site sends your browser a PDF engine (PDFium, the one inside Chrome, about 4.6 MB) the first time you drop a file, and from then on every tool works in your tab, offline too. That is why there is no upload limit, no daily cap and no account: there is no server doing work that would need paying for. How to check that nothing is uploaded.
