Remove blank pages from a PDF, free
Empty pages left by double-sided scanning, separator sheets, or a stray page break are found and taken out. Choose how strict: completely empty, nearly empty, or scanned blank with dust and show-through. A page with real text is never removed, and the result lists the pages taken out. Nothing is uploaded.

How blank pages are found
- Drop the PDF. It opens in a worker in your tab.
- Pick what blank means. Empty finds pages with no ink at all; Nearly empty allows a few specks; Scanned blank allows dust, punch holes and faint show-through.
- Download. Each page is drawn small and its dark pixels counted. Pages under the limit, and without any text, are taken out.
What it does
- Finds blank sides in double-sided scans.
- Keeps any page that has real text, however short.
- Tells you exactly which pages it removed.
What it does not do
- It does not remove pages that only look blank because of very light content; use Empty to be safe.
- On a scan, a page with one faint handwritten line can count as blank under Scanned blank; check the list of removed pages.
Questions
Could it remove a page I need?
A page with real text is never removed. Scanned pages have no text, so check the list of removed pages, or use Empty or Nearly empty.
My scan's blank pages were not removed.
Scanners leave dust and a grey cast. Pick Scanned blank.
Does it change the other pages?
No. They are kept exactly as they were, in the same order.
Does my file leave my computer?
No. Everything runs in your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.
